§ 14-6. Same—Disposition of fee and costs.

The marshal shall pay out of the sale of an impounded animal the impounding fee prescribed by section 14-4 and the expense for keeping such animal. The balance, if any, shall be turned over to the owner of the animal if called for on or before December 31 of the year in which the animal is sold. If not called for by such date, such balance shall be paid into the city treasury.
